The One Hundred Eleventh United States Congress is the current meeting of the legislative branch of the United States federal government, composed of the Senate and the House of Representatives. It began during the last two weeks of the George W. Bush administration, with the remainder spanning the first two years of the Barack Obama administration. The Congress will last from January 3, 2009, until January 3, 2011, and it began its first session on January 6, 2009. The apportionment of seats in the House is based on the 2000 U.S. Census. In the November 4, 2008 elections, the Democratic Party increased its majorities in both chambers. A new delegate seat was created for the Northern Mariana Islands. From Wikipedia under the

Routine stuff. Happens all the time. Answered by Laser - Tue Feb 10 12:33:29 2009 What is your opinion? And why? Q. Editor: I have followed the news reports from Gaza with a heavy heart. The escalating violence has created a humanitarian crisis and diminished hope for peace. At a time of hope and renewal in the United States, it is devastating to observe the bloodshed in the Middle East. But peace could be possible if the United States decides to pursue a rapprochement with Iran. Iran, as a major supporter of Hamas and Hezbollah, is key to peace in Israel and the Middle East at large. Talks between Iran and the United States are essential to foster a stable region in which Hamas and Israel feel secure enough to lay down their arms and begin peace negotiations. President Obama and the 111th Congress should draw Iran into efforts to foster peace… [cont.] Asked by Texas Democrat - Mon Jan 26 16:04:10 2009 - - 7 Answers - 0 Comments A. I am all for it. The fact is that none of us right now have any security. Internet has not been regulated and ever since it became the major source for info, it has to have a major regulatory agency just like any other source of information. It is in fact the only unregulated media as of today. I've personally had to deal with this lack of security and my only recourse had been contacting the police who subsequently passed it on to the FBI. The FBI is so overloaded with complaints that by the time they would be able to get to my case, I would have probably forget all facts. This is how bad it gets, when things like that do not get properly regulated. Today, I am totally devastated.
